Silverware Maintenance
Our company uses only pure silver. One of the most beautiful and fine metals. With proper care will maintain its beauty for many generations!
The pure silver yellows as time goes by, especially if exposed to salt, extreme heat or polluted air. However an object that is conserved regularly is easy to maintain its original sparkle.

We recommend burnishing with special polish that is on sale. (A small package is enough for home use.) The application must be made with a soft sponge and a small amount of polish. Rubbing it with a soft fabric that will not scratch the smooth surfaces. It’s also good to wash with lukewarm water and kitchen soap that will help remove the remains of the polish.
Note that those definitely need washing with dish soap (it is allowed to use the dishwasher) is the cutlery, serving items and anything that comes into contact with food.
Regarding liquid cleaners that are on sale it is pointed out that are very effective. Prolonged use could damage the glaze by tarnishing the smooth surfaces. For this reason is recommended only in items that cannot be clean with fabric and polish.
Very important for the long duration of the burnish is a good drying. Do not leave remains of polish or water. The use of hair dryer is recommended.
After cleaning, keeping them in a soft fabric will help to maintain your silverware longer.
